My photos don’t do it justice, but the food was absolutely amazing! Service was attentive and friendly, with staff happy to explain dishes or recommend their favorites. Prices were fair for the quality and portion sizes, and everything felt made with care. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience authentic Portuguese cuisine without hopping on a plane. You’ll leave full, happy, and planning your next visit.

Great service and delicious food. We tried the veal special, the red snapper and the paella — everything was SO good and the service was incredible. I would definitely return!

Absolutely impressed! Handled my gluten allergy with ease! So MANY OPTIONS, which is not the norm! As happy as I was, my family had a comment or two. They use a lot of oil and the fried snapper wasn’t VERY GOOD. (Not me, but shared opinions, at the table.) I had a chorizo, pork, shrimp, and potato dish! YUMMMMMMMMMMM!!! Fish slabs still have the bones in them, beware of that, thankfully I asked before ordering. I enjoyed it A LOT!!!!

The food here is sooo good! Everything is made to order, so I wouldn't go starving. We always order empinadas as an appetizer..delicious In the summer it has outdoor seating which is great for people watching... Definitely one of our favorite restaurants!

La Morena is one of the best places to dine in the Poconos. Gipson is a dedicated server, Marcos is the owner and chef, and the food is fresh and phenomenal. I have had many dishes here over the years and they have all been amazing, from empanadas to steak, and from chicken to a variety of seafood. Yes, the food may take a while if they are busy but it has always been worth the wait. Besides excellent food, these are big portions as if you have visited Marcos' place for a home cooked meal. The consistency and quality of the dishes amazes me and I hope you discover how fantastic La Morena is for lunch and dinner.
