La Michoacana

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This was our second time trying Mexican ice cream, and La Michoacana in Salt Lake City did not disappoint! We ordered the classic mangonada, and it was absolutely delicious — the perfect balance of sweet and sour. The mango flavor was so refreshing, with just the right amount of tang to keep every bite exciting. We loved it and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an authentic and flavorful treat!

tried their Ferrero Rocher and Pacito flavors, and I was thoroughly impressed. The Ferrero Rocher flavor was rich, creamy, and filled with crunchy hazelnut pieces, perfectly capturing the essence of the popular chocolate. The Pacito flavor, which I hadn’t tried before, was a delightful surprise with its tropical and refreshing taste, offering a perfect contrast to the indulgent chocolate flavor. The service at the shop was excellent. The staff were patient and courteous, taking the time to explain the flavors and offer samples without making me feel rushed. Their warm and friendly demeanor made the experience even more enjoyable. I would highly recommend this place for both the quality of their ice cream and the top-notch service!

Worst experience ever. I mentioned to the owner that the ice cream tasted like freezer burn, and instead of taking accountability, they got defensive and accused us of always complaining — even though it was one of our first visits. The owner had a full meltdown in front of customers when we simply asked for the product to be discarded. Highly unprofessional behavior. Would not recommend supporting this business.

Worst experience ever! Came with a group of friends that had not been before. Got a couple paletas that were freezer burned and very off tasting. When asked if we could exchange them for a different flavor, a lady who works there ( I’m assuming who they call their manager) was very aggressive and defensive. Said we were a group of complainers, that ice cream is supposed to taste frozen, that we are not the first group to say that ( 1 point to us 😂). She did not even attempt to resolve the issue, we even stated, that at that point we didn’t care about the petas, we were just giving feedback so that nobody else experienced this if it was a bad batch. She still was just trying to argue even that! Surreal experience, such an easy fix for a $2 treat. Anywho, avoid this place if you can!

Love this place ice cream is so yummy paletas! Are the best in utah.
