La Michoacana Premium Hanover Park

Don't pay attention to these low reviews. Probably miserable people in real life or local competition. I almost didn't go because of 3.4 rating but when I checked out their website I noticed this was their 6th location and I used to go to their Addison location which was very clean (unlike some Michoacana locations) and everything we ordered was always good. Popped in there today around 1230p and 2 of Hanover Park finest cops were also there getting a treat. My 2 kids decided on Nutella crepes with ice cream scoop and I got a 2 scoop in cup. Everything tasted amazing, the lady helping us out was very friendly and my boys couldn't decide which ice cream to pick that she offered them to sample different ones. They are on the pricier side. I typically don't like the other establishments either because of similar reasons. Also, they always stink so badly inside everyone that I've been to. I don't understand it. Personally, there are much better places to shop for ice cream and shakes.

I was there yesterday it was super busy great service. Employees were doing their best. Will be back soon

Lovely place and tasty ice cream, but the prices could be a bit lower.

Hate to be the bad guy, but I didn’t enjoy my experience at all. I was excited for this place but I was disappointed. I ordered two milk shakes, but she put way too much milk in there, I would say more than half the cup. I asked for less milk more ice cream, in the end we got very watery “milkshakes” We ended up throwing them away, and felt annoyed we wasted 20$ dollars on mediocre milkshakes. Also the music is way too loud in there, it’s very hard to hear or even talking to them makes me feel like i have to yell. I hope to come back in the near future for a better experience.
