La Mezcalita (Mexican Restaurant)

Had the birria tacos with drunken beans, table side guacamole, and chocolate lava cake. My friend had the al pastor tacos. It was all delicious! Would definitely recommend you go! Staff was kind and attentive. Prices were good too.

I am a Mexican food lover, and I think this is the best Mexican food in NJ. Everything was so delicious. I especially loved the churros that were stuffed with caramel. Definitely recommend. I can't wait to come back,

Just wow! We are visiting from CT, we’re here visiting family, and we decided to try this place for dinner tonight and boy am I glad we did! Everything in the menu sounds amazing, and everything we got was absolutely delicious. Our waiter Jonathan was very kind and helpful, my boyfriend was stuck on two different kinds of tacos and he was very helpful and funny about it! We will definitely be coming back for more this place was AWESOME!

Soo happy we made a pit stop here on our way from Long Island to Scranton! What a gem. I was immediately extremely impressed with the atmosphere, theming, and attention to detail. It’s rare to find a spot this special, the food and drinks were incredible, the staff was very friendly and kind, and it was also extremely reasonably priced. I would definitely go out of my way to come back someday in the future. Highly recommend!

Finally made it to this restaurant after hearing great things! We went for dinner with a larger group. Went on the earlier side since they don’t take reservations and we didn’t have to wait at all. We had the queso and guac to start which were delicious. Everyone in our group loved their entrees. I had tuna tacos and tried my husband’s birria tacos which were both fantastic! Finished with the churros for dessert which were delectable. Good portions and reasonable prices. We will absolutely be back!
