La Mesa Poteau

I eat Mexican food every day at home since I'm Mexican so I rarely go eat at Mexican restaurants. However this place is excellent. The food, service and atmosphere are incredible. The dish I had was the Jordan burrito.

My nachos were bland, but the service was top notch, but the Chicken enchiladas were excellent. They have good people. I'm working there. They just need to work on some of this seasoning. The food I recommend trying it again.

The menu says a 12 oz ribeye with the steak and shrimp. The steak had been cut in half . We said something and they said that's how they buy them. I've never been to a place that sells a half ribeye. It was a 8oz at best not even close to 12oz. The food has some good flavor but everything is over cooked an dry. The servers are good about checking on you. I sat my fork down and took a photo. I don't generally leave reviews but if you're ordering and paying for a 12 oz you expect to get it.

The food was bad it was hard and I ordered combination fajitas with steak chicken and shrimp and the only thing good out of it was the shrimp the meat was old like the bottom on the pan been setting all day. I wasn't the only one at the table that had issues. You live and learn

Probably the worse place I've eaten. Chips and salsa were about the only good thing I ate. They brought out my boyfriends food 5 minutes before mine. I ordered the steak and shrimp. The steak was nasty. No flavor and small. I couldn't even eat it because it was so rubbery. The shrimp was undercooked and crunchy. When they brought out the second order of chips we didn't get any salsa. The hot sizzling cast iron plates they bring the food out in are rusted.It was a waist of $50. Nobody came and checked on us. The one time they did I mention my dislike of the steak and not a word from them. I will not be back that is for sure.
