This is the place you want if you want to eat Lechona in NYC. I ordered an entire Lechona for a private event and it was delicious! I had several Colombian guests and they were all very impressed with the food quality (and quantity per serving). The outside of the Lechona was super crispy and the inside was very tasty with an excellent ratio of rice / beans / pork. I also ordered fresh morcilla and hands down the best morcilla I've had in NYC. Highly recommended! The owner is very kind and service oriented.This is a take-out place, so my only suggestion for the owner would be to offer delivery to Manhattan (at least on the weekends). I will definitely order again!
Incredible lechona!!! The best lechona around! Crispy on the outside and the stuffing rice and pork are very flavorful. I picked it up for a dinner party and it was piping hot.
The food is delicious. La lechona, tamal brought me back to my childhood!!
