La Lacandona latin food and more

Great food! I got the chicken quesadillas and they're SO good. The cheese was melty and it was perfectly toasted & the sauce was tasty. La Lacandona is a great restaurant (is it a restaurant if it's in a mall??) to go to if you can't figure out what to eat in while you're in Richland. This place is super cute and I love the hand-drawn sign and menu. I'm definitely coming back next time I'm at the Galleria mall.

Had homemade empanadas and they were delicious. One chicken and one beef and they were both excellent, I’m looking forward to trying the other things on the menu here!

First time here, great experience! The service was wonderful, the lady was very friendly and kindly explained what various menu items they havd and what they are. The food came out in good time, there were a couple of to-go orders ahead of us and the wait time was still very reasonable. I had the roasted red pepper soup, a chicken empanada, and a beef empanada -- all were delicious! The fried breading was absolutely perfect on the empanadas, even if you hadn't been able to see them preparing the food you would immediately know that they weren't frozen the second you took a bite! Our daughter had a chicken quesadilla and loved it, and my husband had chicken soft tacos and also loved them! Great experience, we'll definitely be back!

First time trying this place and it was a huge let down to say the least. My wife ordered their Birria Tacos and when they got here, they were not only extremely sloppy like someone shook up the container they were in, but really soggy as well. So much so she tried putting them in the oven to try to get a crunch back, but unfortunately it didn’t work. For the quality of the food, it definitely wasn’t worth what I was charged. Sadly will not be returning.

The food here is really good! I can tell that the people working here truly care about latin food, and so I would highly recommend. It's important that we support local businesses the best that we can. I am wishing you guys the best!
