So, so, so good—let me tell you, this place is an absolute gem. I took a chance on it after leaving another restaurant disappointed, and La Jolla more than made up for it. From the moment you walk in, the vibe is upscale and inviting. The staff are genuinely friendly and clearly happy to be there, which makes a huge difference. David at the bar deserves a special shoutout—he could sell me anything and I’d say yes. He was attentive, made excellent recommendations, and truly elevated the entire experience. Give that man a raise. I loved it so much that I went back a second time during my short visit. La Jolla was the treat we needed for a birthday dinner. The atmosphere was very personal and comfortable, the service was exceptional, and the food was delicious!!! We didn't make reservations and ended up sitting at the bar, which turned out to be a great choice! Lucas is an exceptional server and made the night! He provided great food and drink recommendations and even better service! Highly recommend!

Montgomery!! You can brag on this one! The atmosphere and food were 5 stars. Best pork chop hands down and that Cajun brown butter,,,,. Ooooooweee ! The lobster bisque yes!!!!!!

La Jolla is always a treat! The lamb chops are melt-in-your-mouth tender and never gamey, amazing even without sauce, (though the smoked pear gastrique is a perfect touch) This time I added turtle cheesecake with praline sauce… absolutely worth it. Lindsey’s warm welcome and knowing me by name make every visit feel special so appreciative.

Lamb chops were top tier. Mushroom pasta was okay. Service was good and fast paced.
