La Jefa Mexicana

Had street tacos, the chips and salsa were really good and I had 2 Chalupas platter. And you HAVE TO TRY THE CAKE...its really like a jello cake, incredible!! Requested a little hotter sauce, it was ok but I understand the owner makes a real hot sauce, next time I want that..my pallete is closer to ghost pepper 🌶 😋

We had a great experience at La Jefa! I had street tacos with carnitas and my daughter had the brisket pizza. Everything tasted so good! Very fresh. Try the green salsa it’s amazing. The wait staff were so friendly and attentive. Coming back here the next time I’m in McPherson!!

Love La Jefa, California burrito is our favorite! Great margaritas, Mango is my favorite! Be sure to ask for the green salsa and check out the mural done by my daughter!

My family gets the Birria pizza every time and it’s been great every time. They give plenty of sauce and the service is fast.

I recently visited La Jefa Mexicana and had a fantastic experience. The restaurant is very charming, with vivid murals and art on the walls that add to the vibrant atmosphere. The staff were very nice, and we didn't have to wait to get seated. The menu offered great choices, and the updated decor was a nice touch. Our food came out quickly and was served hot. We tried the Birria tacos, asada street tacos, and smokehouse tacos, and all of them were delicious. Highly recommend!
