La Herradura Mexican grill

Had a burger. Yes, at a Mexican restaurant. I have gotta say it was one of the best burgers I have ever had. Unexpected and beautifully delicious. If you are on the fence about trying this place..... Just do it. Ya won't regret it for a second. I promise.

I rate Mexican restaurants around the US. La Herradura is good for a small-town Nebraska restaurant. Serving pinto beans with the chips and salsa is a nice touch. They tend to get a little busy and could use more servers. The food is good quality and very tasty, but more Tex-Mex-style than Mexican. The prices are more reasonable than most places. A good value and experience for the money.

Service was great. Food was even better than expected and priced lower than average it seemed. Taco salad and nachos were loaded with meat. Very nice and clean. Staff was so attentive. Checked in without bothering at the same time.

We don't get to Beatrice often and decided to give this place a try. We were seated and the staff was very attentive. No wait for drinks and they answered the questions we had. I ordered the lunch portion of the steak fajitas and my husband ordered one of the burritos. Speaking for myself the portion was perfect, I don't have much of an appetite (it was about 1/2 of the portion that you'd get anywhere else). His burrito on the other hand was pitifully small, it was not off of the smaller portion lunch menu and would have needed to be b 2-3x more to be a dinner portion for anyone with a normal appetite. We tried their salsa and their unusual bean dip, ordered a side of poblano sauce and a side of queso. It's sad to say the queso was the most flavorful part of the meal. There was littl

Bartender Izzy is the best! Very attentive and personable and customer oriented, makes you feel like family! Lilly the owner is awesome! Didn’t even know us but took a special request from my husband and didn’t bat a eye at it, Vanessa very sweet and talked to us like she knew us forever, not to mention the food was amazing very authentic Mexican cuisine and the variety of different adult beverages was awesome! Definitely a must even if just traveling through!!!!
