La Hacienda Del Rio

Not a Mexican food person by all means, but this was awesome! They were able to easily accommodate my pickiness and I was much appreciative of that. I got a chicken enchilada (with no salsa), beef enchilada and rice. My husband got the carne asada meal and aside from it being "slightly" dry, the flavor and texture was absolutely amazing! We also got the fried ice cream of course. And, Free kids meal on sunday? Count me in. Our server Courtney was very sweet, kind, and was able to handle our wild almost 3 year old. Forgot to take a picture of my husband's meal.

What a fun find !! Sat at the bar and Leah was our awesome bartender. Margaritas were delish and strong ! Loved the fresh salsa. My chimi was delicious and my hubby loved his burrito. We’ll be back. Staff was so friendly upon our departure.

Very good food including complimentary fresh salsa and chips. The house Margarita was delicious and not overly priced. Kids also get to eat for free on Sundays!

The service here was amazing, the waitress was friendly and answered all the questions that was asked about the menu. The food was a hit or miss. The street corn was not street corn. It was canned corn with some type of sour cream sauce on it that ultimately ended up at the bottom of the dish. It tasted as if I was eating can corn. The rice and beans, the beans tasted good but the rice was dry and lacked flavor. The taco was delicious a bit greasy but good. The burrito was stuffed full and tasted good. The half loaded nachos tasted amazing, the chicken was moist and the mix of veggies and cheese made it all taste great. The restaurant itself was a bit dark, not so dark that you can’t see but definitely not a well light. The bathroom and the restaurant both looked very clean.

The food hit the spot as mexican food should. Waitress jasmine was amazing and made the experience worthwhile. Will visit again when in town.
