La Guadalupana Mx Food & Snacks

We ordered Tamales for Christmas Eve. We stopped in and ordered them a few days ahead of time. The service and the tamales were fantastic. Everyone was friendly and helpful, they even carried them out to my car for me. The tamales were authentic and reminded us of the tamales we used to get in Texas. I highly recommend La Gauadalupana, if you want authentic Mexican food. We will be back for sure.

This used to be my favorite Mexican restaurant in the area and have ordered from here 15+ times. I have no clue what happen to the quality of the food. The Guac & chips was half the size it typically is for the same price. It was mainly jalapeño and tomato because they must have been low on avocado. The quesbirrias barely had any meat or cheese on them. The quesadilla maiz had burnt steak and over ripened avocado. They also gave me two side sauces for three meals?! They used to never operate like that. Last two orders I placed here it was the same exact poor food quality. Did this place change owners or do they just not care anymore?!

My wife was denied access here with her service dog after staff claimed they were “allergic to dogs.” This is a direct violation of the ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act). Allergies or fear of dogs are not valid reasons to refuse entry to a person with a service animal. Under the ADA, service dogs are permitted in all public areas, and staff are only allowed to ask two questions if it isn’t obvious: (1) Is the dog a service animal required because of a disability? and (2) What work or task has the dog been trained to perform? They cannot deny entry for “allergies,” and they cannot demand ID or paperwork. Sadly, because of the disrespectful way my wife was treated, she chose to leave.
