La Gordibuena Taqueria Restaurant

We decided to try La Gordibuena last week and were very impressed. The interior was cozy and a little noisy but the food was excellent. I had the beef Quesabirria tacos and my companion had the enchiladas. Both dishes had the fantastic flavor that comes from a family owned restaurant that focuses on quality. My margarita was excellent! The prices were reasonable and the portions were ample. They even had real sugar cane cokes in a bottle! Service was prompt and courteous. I plan on returning.

Waited 25min for a soggy tortas. Had to add avacado(what torta does not include avacado smh) of course they upcharged me) they didn’t even use fresh sliced avacado. (Used brown guacamole) as pictured. also only one slice (thin) tomato per torta lol and no onion. Do cooks get a bonus for being skimpy lol

We’ve been getting takeout breakfast tacos from here at least once a week for the past 6 months and they are delicious. And the portions are so generous - they’re stuffed with 2-3x more filling than your average taco (which is extra crazy given how affordable they are). Both green and red sauces are on point. They’re also super friendly - you can order ahead online and either pick up inside or through the drive through window, and I’ve never waited for more than a minute, if that. My order has never been wrong, and they are consistent with quality and taste. Highly recommend- best breakfast tacos we’ve found in the Lakeway/Hudson Bend area by far!

I was craving breakfast tacos so we drove out looking for a place that was open. We drove past La Gordibuena and noticed it was open, so we turned around and came back. And we’re so glad we did! I had Migas tacos and my husband had a breakfast burrito. We also brought back some breakfast tacos for the family. Nice, fresh, hot breakfast on a cool February morning! I think we’re definitely going back again!

Very overpriced. My wife and I ordered the 6 beef mini tacos and we were extremely disappointed. Each taco had 2 to 3 small strips of meat. We added avocodo and queso fresco. We also had a single taco each. We paid 75.00 dollars including tip. Overpriced and disappointing.
