Food here is pretty good, and was a highly frequented place within our family after moving to the area, until we consistently did not receive everything we were asking for upon ordering. There has only been one, maybe two occasions where we have received our meals as ordered out of the many times we have eaten here. I can only chalk it up to the language barrier between me and the person taking my order, though I do try to explain what I am asking for as best as I am able in order to accommodate for me not being bilingual. My husband and I always ask for a medium side of salsa verde and a large side of the regular salsa but we never receive the salsa verde at all, and the salsa we get with our chips is the normal smaller container and is almost always only 1/3 to 1/2 of the way filled. This place was amazing! By far the best authentic Mexican food we’ve had in the area, rivals our favorite place in SoCal. So far we have tried most of the tacos and the torta. Hot sauce was great too, both the red and the green (spice and flavorful). We will be back! Just know, this is not a sit down Mexican restaurant, they have some seating, but it’s definitely more casual so you’ll get your delicious food super quick.

Food is good however, 15 dollars for a giant bone instead of actual menudo is a crime. Came home happy cause I was about to eat menudo only to empty the container and its just a massive bone and small fragments of meat.

La Fondita is a true hidden gem for anyone craving authentic Mexican cuisine in Clarksville. Its location on Fort Campbell Blvd is very convenient, with plenty of parking, making it easy to find. The moment you walk in, you’re greeted by a warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The service is absolutely top-notch; the staff is incredibly friendly, efficient, and happy to offer great recommendations. As for the food—it’s fantastic! The portions are generous, everything tastes fresh, and their salsas are to die for. It’s excellent value for money. Whether you’re looking for a casual family dinner or a quick lunch, this is the spot. I’ll definitely be back!

Been here many times for dine-in and drive-thru, always been great. Best Carnitas and Al Pastor in Clarksville, better than most of Nashville too. Interior is somewhat small but very comfy chairs/booths
