La Espiguita Bakery

​I came to La Espiguita Bakery for some Colombian food and the flavors were great. I had one main suggestion that would make things much better! ​I ordered the Buñuelo. It tasted good, but it was not hot enough. It should be piping hot. Also, it needs more cheese inside. If it was hot and had more cheese, it would be perfect. ​I also had the Arepa de Chocolo. The sweet corn flavor was delicious. Just like the buñuelo, it was not hot enough. It needs to be served hot so the cheese melts. ​Overall, great taste, but please serve the food much hotter!

It was amazing, and my old review still stands, but a warning, my sister is really picky so she made sure with my mom she got a chocolate cake, but once we got home and sliced it at night, it was vanilla. She was so upset. Luckily they gave us a major discounr next time due to this but that is an issue to worry about! Still though, We've come here since we were kids and it NEVER disappoints!

Gabriel was really nice and attended me very well. The bakery items are always fresh and tastes really good and warm!!!

This bakery is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, the smell of fresh pandebono and buñuelos is incredible. I tried the pan de bono (warm and perfectly cheesy) and a chicken empanada (flaky crust and deliciously seasoned filling). The arequipe-filled pastries were also to die for. The staff were so friendly and helpful, explaining the different breads to me. It felt like a little trip to Colombia. I will definitely be back to try everything else! Highly recommended.
