La Española II

A friend reminded me that l should eat there and send her pictures. She misses it and can't good Mexican food where she lives. So l did WONDERFUL food and the Chili Relleno was a 5 star. This is a hidden gem in Dalhart!!! Thank you again Sean Sheets

Nice little place in Dalhart, TX. The food is hot and fresh and tasty, although I would say that meat needs some more seasoning in my opinion. The tortillas are fresh, the salsa is made in house, and they will grate fresh cheese on your chips...a nice tasty touch. Our service was good even though it was very busy...seems like the town loves this little place.

Driving through Texas to get back to Colorado and stopped for some Mexican food out here in the middle of nowhere, pleasantly surprised that it was quite good. I especially liked their chips (fresh and hot) and their salsa (excellent).

Great eatery in Dalhart! The ONLY restaurant I know that offers to cover your chips in shredded Velveeta cheese! Wonderful! A go to when I am in Dalhart!

I’ve been here twice and had their chicken enchilada dinner both times. It’s better than any other big chain restaurant I’ve been to. Do yourself a favor and get the cheese chips as well!
