10/10! Super friendly staff and everything was delicious. I went in anticipating oxtails but they were out, so I opted for jerk chicken, Mac and cheese and rice and peas. Literally the most flavorful rice and peas I’ve ever had! Mac was tasty and well seasoned and the jerk chicken was the perfect blend of tang and spice. I looked forward to having leftovers but ate the entire plate in one sitting. Will definitely be back :))

The best wings everrrr! I get the lemon pepper wings every time and they taste better than any wings I’ve ever had. The food here is made to order so it’s always fresh and tastes amazing. This is one of the best spots in Bed-Stuy for soul food. If you haven’t tried this spot yet, you’re missing out!

I ate good okay! The macaroni feels like thanksgiving, the oxtails? Fire. The cabbage? Fire. It’s insane how fast I devoured this meal; I got the Oxtail meal and it definitely was a great end to my day. The portions are perfect; The owner is super chill and the restaurant is super cute and aesthetic, definitely my new soul food go-to! Also if you’re big on seafood you definitely won’t be disappointed because she has tons of seafood based meal options!

Called 2/26/26 @ 6:18pm to place a pick up order. I wanted the fried lobster tail and asked if it was 2 pieces for $35 because on the menu it says 2 pieces for $35. When I asked the girl on the phone about it being on the menu, I thought she would've said that's a happy hour item or that's only for Sundays or just say it's a typo and they'll fix it soon. Instead the girl says "I wouldn't even buy a lobster tail if it was less than $35" 😏 ok, can do without the wallet shaming. I said "I actually would buy a $17 lobster tail, with tax it's basically $20. In Maine, you can get a $10 lobster because of the abundance up there, but anyways can I call back? tldr: the food was great and the owner was very friendly full review: i ordered with grubhub a few minutes before, and since it was cold i walked in instead of waiting outside. i had got oxtails, yams, and collard greens. when i told her my order she said how the yams were still cooking and offered to give me something else. i love yams — so i didn't mind waiting (it was maybe an hour or so). in the mean time, we had a conversation and she asked me about myself and also told me her own story. she is a very admirable and kind person and the food she made was delicious. she put her entire heart into it, and you can tell. everything made in the restaurant was either made by her or her mom. i went almost a month ago, and i still think about the interaction (and the food). more about the plac
