Customer Reviews
My experience at La Côte was rather forgettable — neither good nor bad, simply unremarkable. The chicken sandwich had a pleasant flavor, but the meat itself was tough and overcooked, making it difficult to enjoy. The service was attentive but not genuinely warm, with staff appearing somewhat rushed and insistent that we finish quickly — hardly the relaxed seaside experience one expects from such a setting.
We didn’t stay at the Fontainebleau Hotel but decided to try La Côte based on good reviews, the location, and the menu photos on Google Reviews. Unfortunately, the first impression wasn’t great - the hostess was very unfriendly, greeting us with complete indifference. The restaurant was almost empty (only 3–4 tables occupied), yet she simply walked us to a table, said “Enjoy” in the same indifferent manner, and left. Our server was more pleasant and explained some of the menu items. We ordered half a dozen oysters - they were very small, and worse, each one had several shell fragments in each, so you have to eat them very carefully. The chicken kebab was very good; however, the price listed is only for the kebab itself, with no sides included. The tabouleh, which was still interesting to
Had lunch here during our stay at Fontainebleau. Tried their Grilled Swordfish and Moroccan Chicken Sandwich. Both were fresh and delicious. The staff was very warm and friendly.
The hygiene conditions were so poor that I cannot recommend this restaurant at all. To begin with, this place has basically turned into a feeding ground for pigeons. The couch seats near the entrance are especially bad—pigeons walk freely underneath the couches, and if you’re not careful, they’ll even fly onto the armrests and low tables. I had high expectations since this is a restaurant at the five-star Fontainebleau Miami Beach, so it was very disappointing. The food itself was good and the atmosphere of the restaurant was nice, which made the lack of hygiene stand out even more. I strongly recommend that the restaurant management take serious action to address the pigeon problem.
Beautifully located across from the beach. Excellent menu as well as ambiance. Delectable dishes did not disappoint. The grilled octopus, fragrant salmon and the dessert with raspberry sorbet so so good. I found I like this place best from all on the property.
