La Costena Restaurant Authentic Peruvian Cuisine

Today was our fourth visit to this restaurant and we’re absolutely pleased. The food was AMAZING as always. We always patronize here as a part of our yearly Sight and Sound theatre outing. For some reason I read the past reviews and many were not favorable mostly because of the service and discrepancies with the price charged versus the price listed in the menu. Last year I experienced those discrepancies and the problem was resolved. This year the menus have been updated, no 20% gratuity was added and the service was phenomenal. Our Waitress Rosanna was WONDERFUL!!!! She was very patient, very kind and recommended excellent dishes. I am allergic to bell peppers so she did her due diligence and checked with the owner and Chef to ensure the ingredients and sauces did not include bell pepper

I live in Harrisburg, and every time we get to go to Lancaster we always try to make it to this restaurant! The food and the atmosphere is all amazing! The most delicious food ever 🇵🇪❤️

We stopped in this little place for lunch, and it’s quite a hidden gem. The staff was friendly and food was simply delicious! Would recommend to anyone wanting to try some traditional Peruvian food:)

Came back to have Peruvian food after a couple years. The food was ok, the lombo saltado meat was a bit dry and anticucho could have a bit more cummin. My husband is Peruvian and i have eaten Peruvian food in many places . This place is decent food but It can b a bit pricey depending what u order. I don't eat tomato's at all and the only dish i will eat tomatos is lombo saltado.
