Had the best chicharrón of my life here months ago. As soon as I spotted them glistening on display, I knew I had to order. Crispy skin, juicy meat, perfectly seasoned. The pork fat was rendered just enough so the remaining fat had a firmer, almost meaty bite instead of melting away. It was one of those rare, stop-you-in-your-tracks moments. Unfortunately, when I came back a few months later, they were just… ordinary. No more juiciness, just dry chunks sitting out on display. Maybe it’s a timing thing—you probably have to show up early morning to catch Colombian chicharrón at its best. The rest of that plate (sausage, rice, beans) was fine, though the beef was on the tough, dry side. On my most recent visit, I tried the beef empanada and carne asada. The empanada was decent, but clearly
arepas are delicious, service was very friendly, and the decoration inside is colorful and cute.
Authentic Colombian Flavor Right in Boston! If you’re looking for real Colombian comfort food, La Cosecha is the spot. It’s a small, no-frills place, but the food absolutely delivers. Everything feels homemade — from the crispy empanadas to the hearty bandeja paisa and fresh smoothies. Portions are generous, prices are super fair (around $10–$20), and the service is fast and friendly. You can tell they put love into their cooking. The salchipapas (fries with sausage) were a personal favorite — perfect if you’re craving something filling and savory. Plus, the tropical drinks they offer are refreshing and authentic. Whether you’re grabbing breakfast, lunch, or just a quick snack, La Cosecha hits the spot if you want real Latin flavor without breaking the bank. Definitely a hidden gem for
I wanted to have dinner in bed so i ordered from this place through doordash but I didn’t expect to see actual food thrown in paper bags, sausage tasted good but empanadas needed some better work. Tostones were and tasted old and dry, arroz con pollo is not bad but can be way better. The soup needed 2 xtra packets of salt and please buy another salad dressing because it tasted horrible. It was my first time ordering from this place and most probably my last time.
Oh my! Hidden gem. The perfect breakfast bursting with flavor. The best I’ve had since leaving New York. Get the empanadas y arepas con huevos y chorizo!!
