First time going to La Chingada. I was surprised to find a full restaurant located behind the bakery. The food and atmosphere was outstanding. Service needs some attention, but it was acceptable. Everyone is friendly.

You have to walk past the deli to the back and seat yourself. The waitress will greet you. The food was amazingly authentic. The fajita a la mexicana was delicious. The chile relleno was also delicious. Salsa is spicy and has a good texture. Overall if you want good Mexican food this is one of the places. The chairs and tables are well maintained, floor is clean. The margaritas were excellent. Not too much syrup and had a nice kick to it. They serve tamales, pozole and menudo on the weekends

Great Mexican food. Well portioned

Holy cow! This is authentic Mexican food! The staff was extremely nice, and the prices are very reasonable. But you're reading this to hear about the food, right? It's awesome! The portions are large, and everything was awesome. The tortillas were homemade, the ingredients were all fresh. Definitely go! They do speak English.

Overall, I wouldn't dine here again. I felt very uneasy and unwelcome. We weren't greeted when we walked in. Even all the other diners looked up and looked at us like we were in the wrong place. It took a long time for someone to come to the table to give menus. Took a long time for our order to be taken. The waitress never came back to see how things were, ask if we need to go boxes, or even bring our check. We had to go ask for boxes and then again for our check. The food was ok. The torta portions are large and they don't slack on the fillings. The steak in the torta was lacking a good flavor and was bland. Not bad but not notably something I'd be back after. We will stick with another locally owned authentic Mexican restaurant that greats and serves us with a smile. Plus their food
