La Chapina Restaurant

First time going there. We were seated almost immediately. The waitress was doing a good job. She brought our drinks right away and took our order. But once we got the food, she did not come back to check on us at all! We had finished our drinks and needed refills. The food wasn't that great. I ordered a Steak Schuco and it barely had any steak. The few pieces of steak it had were kinda big, that the whole piece would come out and it would be too big for my mouth. The popusas were too simple, hardly any flavor. Would not recommend. I ordered an Agua de Horchata and it did not taste like it's supposed to. Instead it tasted like an Almond Milk. The only thing I would recommend 100% is the Tamale Plate. That one is really delicious. Only reason I would go back it would be to eat a Tamale.

The best Guatemalan food in Colorado! I had the pork tamale and it just melts in your mouth. I also had 2 pupusas de chicharrón y queso, so yummy! Highly recommend it! Super authentic.

I really enjoyed the food here, prices are afford able and serving sizes are great. I would recommend the pupusas and some tacos for a meal.

Remodel new spot few doors away from the previous, I never have any issues, I order what I want and is delicious , handmade corn tortillas transports me to La Cosina de Mi Mamà. Great place 👌

My friend Mirna (Mariela) recommended this new Guatemalan restaurant, and I’m so glad she did. As someone who is half Guatemalan, I really appreciated how authentic everything was. I tried the tamales, the Guatemalan breakfast, the pineapple water, and the atole …everything was delicious. I also loved that they make handmade tortillas.👌🏽 The restaurant was very clean, the service was kind and welcoming, and I’ll definitely be bringing my family and recommending this place to others.
