La Catrina Mexican Restaurant

My partner and I got the pollo torta and chorizo torta, respectively. Food is flavorful, hands down. Portions are large, we each took half home. Partner appreciated the thinner fried chicken cutlets as it made it easier to bite down without pulling the whole piece out. I found the chorizo to be perfectly seasoned and cooked. The chipotle sauce adds a lot of flavor and a good amount of heat. 100% recommend. Side note: if you are not good with heat, be extra sure to ask for no chipotle sauce or pickled jalapeno. Partner's stomach disagrees with heat, and it seems some of my chipotle sauce splashed onto her bun when being prepared. Otherwise, bring Tums.

Great place. Very community minded. We won a gift certificate from the American Legion. Service was great. Atmosphere was great. As always chips and salsa come out but they have a jalapeno sauce that was delicious. I tried a enchilada chimichanga with mole. I liked mine my wife, not a fan. Next time I will stay with familiar items for the wife. Happy wife,,,. Overall it was great.

The waitress was really kind, the food was amazing, and the portions were large but good. Decoration and dishes are authentic Mexican. We really love it!

Excellent food, huge portions, great & friendly service. I ordered a chicken quesadilla and can honestly say it was the best quesadilla I ever had!

I went to LaCatrina and tried the Fajitas. They were excellent right on point. Our hostess was very nice and friendly. I tried the corn tortillas they good but I like my flour tortillas a little bit more.
