La Catrina buffet

The food was delicious, and the buffet was extremely clean. There's lots to choose from, and it's all extremely fresh. They are very attentive to the buffet and are constantly cleaning it and adding to it. While we were there, the gentleman wiped the buffet down constantly and kept the serving spoons wiped down as well. We were very impressed and can't wait to visit again. We do love a good buffet, and this one is amazing. I hope they do well..

Came down to Southern Pines for the evening and happened to stumble across a Mexican buffet that had great reviews. Skeptical at first since the buffet was small but don’t let the size of the buffet fool you, every single one of the items is packed with tons of flavor. Everything I ate was top notch quality. The only issue we had was there weren’t many people eating so not everything was absolutely fresh. Still hot but not right out of the kitchen fresh. Everything tasted homemade, none of the mass produced ready in 5 minute plates you get at a normal Mexican restaurant. Extremely good chips, taco shells, and even salad shells. 3 stars because out the door price was 20.25 for one person. Not much on the buffet for that price! Food was good though. Just n0t 20.00 worth the price. Was awkward though. I was the only customer at 12pm. And they hadn't even got all the food on the buffet.

Recently found this gem thanks to friends informing us it was here. The portions are HUGE and the price is great! The food is so amazing and the staff is always very friendly. We are forever customers.

My boyfriend and I went for lunch on the second day open and the food was great! They bring you warm tortillas upon request. The only thing that could make it even better would be a red salsa and queso, but we’d still go back happily without that!
