La Casita Mexican Restaurant

I cannot believe I've not been here before... Great Mexican food! I had the children enchiladas, my go to test for any Mexican restaurant. They were fabulous, with excellent chicken, not the shredded stuff. My table mates had the steak quesadillas and tacos. The taco shells were authentic and tasty. This is a great little Mexican restaurant very local to us. Yeah, the parking is cramped but it's worth it.

Absolutely terrible Mexican food! I had chicken enchiladas and it was as dry as a desert! The mild sauce tastes like tomato soup, too. I could’ve made this dish better at home in a crock pot. Will not return.

Bought chicken and beef tacos last year. The chicken came cubed. I spent 40 years living next to Blue Island. Never once have I seen a cubed chicken taco. Very bland as well. The beef was burned to a crisp and super greasy. Literally crunched. Ive been there twice now, since I moved out here, and very subpar food from both orders. I just cant bring myself to go back and try it again.

Best tacos I have had in years. Very nice lady waiting on us. Looking forward to going back it will be a weekly visit.

Located on a triangle point of 2 streets at the intersection. Nearly no parking. We did kind of a 'Taco Tuesday', they are good. The green sauce is very tasty & mild, the red sauce is more spicy hot.
