La Casita Mexican Restaurant

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely delicious! La Casita in Crystal River is a true hidden gem. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with friendly service and a welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The food is packed with authentic flavor — fresh, well-seasoned, and clearly made with care. Everything we tried was excellent, from the entrees to the sides, and the portions were generous without sacrificing quality. You can really tell this is a place that takes pride in what they serve. If you’re looking for great Mexican food with amazing flavor and genuine hospitality, La Casita is a must-visit. We’ll definitely be coming back!

This is a truly authentic Mexican restaurant, right down to the decor and the music. I ordered a two enchilada plate, one chicken and one cheese, and had them double the rice because I don't like refried beans. The chips and salsa were excellent. The salad is made daily, so it differs a little bit day to day. That's the way it should be! I had a pineapple- jalapeño margarita, which was excellent. My waitress was very friendly and stopped often to be sure I was ok. Overall, I'd give this 5 stars. I'll be back!

Our manatee tour guide from Nature's Discovery recommended this restaurant and it did not disappoint. I got the Quesabirria and it was DELICIOUS - generous portions, great consommé for dipping, excellent salsa, and friendly service. If I lived in the area, I would definitely be a regular. :)

Food was great, some of the best birria we’ve had. Birria fries were great too! Steak tacos weren’t the best but everything else made up for it for sure. We’ll be back!
