If you go for the service and atmosphere, you're in the right place. Unfortunately, I go to restaurants primarily for the food, which, in this case, leaves much to be desired. Chili soup is too salty, American cheese (2nd rate Velveeta) was used for the tacos, etc. Enchiladas were good and the tortilla chips was standard. Service was excellent, attentive and courteous. Atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable. Price was reasonable. Improve a bit on the food quality and taste, and this place would be great. It certainly has potential.
The margaritas are large and yummy! We shared one order of chicken and beef fajitas and had enough leftover for lunch the next day. Their food is wonderful, I just wish that they would serve cilantro without charging extra for it.
Every time i order takeout it's always ready on time. Staff is very nice. Order comes with free salsa and chips. Food is pretty good. Only suggestion i would offer is, sometimes i find one or two seasoned potatoes in my rice. I cant tell if in purpose or accident. I fricken love those potatoes and wish the rice had more in it!
Very busy on Saturday nights. I was on a list for over a half hour. Text was sent 📤 to me when my table was ready. Friendly service. Menus are available online. Coupons may be available in the Hippo newspaper. I ordered Alitas, fried chicken wings, for an appetizer. My sinuses paid for it! I had Ranchero Chef's Special, steak 🥩 with grilled peppers, tomatoes, onions and your choice of fajitas and chicken enchilada. Dessert was Flan was the right amount without overfilling your stomach. My unsweetened ice tea was refilled without asking. All of my food was good, though the steak 🥩 had a bit to much fat. Salsa and nachos were offered as an appetizer. I had leftovers and it made a good lunch and dinner. Wifi available. Parking lot can fill up fast. May want to call ahead on weekends. I reco
We had a deeply concerning experience at this restaurant during a recent visit with a group of coworkers and friends. We ordered appetizers and drinks. My friend had one full margarita and a few sips of a second. Not long after, he abruptly left without saying anything to anyone (which is very out of character), drove home, completely unaware of what he was doing, and ended up violently ill, vomiting and convulsing. He blacked out. Another member of our group had a similar reaction and became sick in the restaurant bathroom before passing out in their vehicle. In addition to this, we had a very unsettling experience with our server. We waited about 20 minutes before anyone approached us, and when our waiter did arrive, he was noticeably rude and dismissive. He seemed uninterested in help
