This place is really a hidden gem. The vibe, music, and decor was perfect. Service was prompt and attentive, chicken tostones were incredibly favorable, beef empanadas were fried and seasoned perfectly, my steak tacos had so much flavor and was incredibly fresh, and the salsa verde was addicting. My husband ordered the chicken burrito and they didn’t skimp out at all, amazing flavor and generous portions. Our margaritas were made perfectly, churros were crispy and sweet and just so delicious. We loved this place and will definitely be retuning!
Very reasonable prices, absolutely the best Mexican food I have ever had (and I've been to Mexico a few times)! Their drinks are phenomenal and the staff is always accommodating. They recently redid the layout with new plush chairs and taller tables to allow for more booth seating. Not so clustered. Came back at Christmas time and enjoyed the decorations.
My husband and I went on a date night here it was an absolute pleasure. The food was full of flavor and clearly made with care, and the portions were satisfying without being overwhelming. We loved the tostones de pollo , we had it for appetizer and our entrees were absolutely delicious as we. The drinks were just as impressive well crafted, refreshing, and paired perfectly with the meal. A great spot for a relaxed meal or a night out, and definitely somewhere I’d return to.
What a hidden gem! La Cantina’s margarita flights are such a great deal and presented so nicely! The calamari is perfectly crisp. The combo menu offers plenty of options to try a little bit of everything. Definitely worth a try if you’re looking for a good drink deal and yummy food.
I was driving by and decided to check out the happy hour. Just a quick bite and drink. Sat at the bar. The regular rocks margarita made for happy hour was done well. Tried the beef empanadas and the chicken flautas. They both seemed home made. The empanada came with a dipping sauce that was simple - maybe just mayo and tomato. The flautas were presented nicely, with lettuce and cheese over the top. Filling was also mild. Happy hour prices were about average. Pleasant experience overall and will go back and try a dinner. I was a little dark inside and the overall vibe seems to still be developing.
