LA Cajun Crawfish

Love this spot. I go here for the seafood market section as well. Not everyone knows they sell the freshest and biggest live crawfish in Houston but they do. I always get my sacks from here. I got some live crawfish and my backyard boil came out perfect today. For convenience, the market section also sells the seafood boil bags, the cajun butter, and other seasonings.

My favorite seafood and wings restaurant in Houston. My parents took me here when I was in Middle School in 2012 and now I take my friends here all the time. I absolutely love it here. The wings are always fried fresh when you order. This last visit, I had the fried catfish (always the real catfish filets here and not the swai or channel catfish filets other places serve) with dirty rice and their famous petite boil which has crawfish, snowcrabs and shrimp! This is the orginal LA Crawfish on the northwest part of town. It is a little hidden, but well worth discovering because I have tried the other imitators like New LA Crawfish and LA Spicy and both don't do it as well as the original in this area. Customer service is great. I ordered the crawfish special 3 lbs for $31. My issue is that the crawfish corn and potatoes are not seasoned, and they give you some type of sauce, and another garlic butter sauce that just tastes like movie popcorn butter. I would definitely go back if they just season the crawfish boil instead of giving bland butter sauce. Oh and sausage is eckert sausage and we all know that is the low sausage. Come on now if this is Cajun we need andouille sausage I would even take Chappelle Hill over some cheap soft sausage. Overall the restaurant was clean.

I pass this place everyday going to and coming from work... And decided to try it out on my off day.. And I was not impressed at all.. The crawfish are a very nice size, but the flavor is so Bland.. I don't care for spice, but the flavor is a must... I probably won't try it again.. The customer service was great though..

I ordered a delivery I got the 6 shrimp and 10 wings with the chicken sausage shrimp gumbo. Ok, them wings are packed with flavor and we’re amazing. I ordered online and I had to do my research to see what location this was from. My food was neatly packed, still hot when it arrived. Even the delivery driver followed instructions well and customer service was great.
