La Cabana

I was in the area looking at a vehicle from Market place. Me and my father both know we love tacos so this was a easy choice to get lunch. When we walked in we where greeted by hand gestures on how many were eating. then pointed to where we should sit. The fresh chips was the best thing here. Salsa wasn't that good kinda bland, no flavor at all. You know you cant go wrong with "street tacos" well here you can. That was the worst taco I ever took a bite from. Literally one bite and put it down. My father somehow ate 1.5 ( he was starving ). The manager im assuming asked me for a to go box. I told her absolutely not. My meal was terrible. She said okay. We asked for a to go drank and the check. I was still charged the full amount which was unsettling with me due to I took one bite. We paid a

I feel the food portions are small compared to the price. Also the food seems to be on the bland side. For a family of 5 it was $90.00. I don’t mind paying for good food but this was not worth it. The server was nice and the restaurant looked clean. I wished the food was better because there’s not to many places to choose from in this small town.

La Cabaña was the 1st restaurant we visited after Helene’s wrath of destruction. We’ve always enjoyed our meals from La Cabana but for some reason they have just seemed exceptionally delicious since Helene. I always enjoy starting off with the queso and chips while my husband enjoys the Salsa. Then I always get the same thing whether lunch or dinner… The lunch #8 no beans all rice. My husband likes just about everything on the menu, so he tries something different every time. And on this visit, he ordered the “Freddy Burger”. Where do you think they got the name Freddy Burger from??? But to have a burger from a Mexican restaurant, it looked really good and he said, it tastes even better than it looks.

This is a fantastic local Mexican restaurant. The service is always wonderful and the food stays consistently great. I definitely recommend eating here.

Fast service, free chips and salsa, great lunch deals, and the food was just what you need. Hard to say anything bad about a $7 lunch. Definitely recommend stopping in.
