La Bendicion Bakery

My work friends always bring me pan dulce to work so I HAD to find somewhere nearby that had it. Tried this bakery on a whim. My Spanish isn’t great but the cashier still found a way to communicate with me and pointed me to some of the best bread I have ever had. 10/10!

I love supporting local businesses but this experience was horrible. The bread is really over priced, when I went I walked in to look at the bread. Tried to pick up the bread but it was rick hard, like if it was old. Went up to the counter and for 3 prices of bread I payed $6, I asked the lady if it was fresh and she said it was baked yesterday but the bake only in the afternoon. So if the bread is baked in the afternoon it stays in its spot on the shelf all day and night. The bakery was freezing so that’s why the bread was hard as a rock.

We got food poisoning from here. It was our first time going, We bought bread there & it wasn’t good, I’m not sure how long it was on the shelf for.

Great selection of baked goods and general store stuff, including Mexican goodies. They had a good selection of teas except for black tea...which is what I was looking for! But that's okay.

My fiancé and I love the variety of fresh breads and pastries! Especially the churros!
