La Autentica Michoacana in Romeoville

Don’t get me wrong I love la michoacana but this location is the worst and I have the worst experience, so I was coming from work. I was heading home until I wanted to get something from La Michoacana. I ordered a natural yogurt, and then the employee the young girl are so rude and every time. When I can’t hear them, they get annoyed every time. When I asked them to repeat it. Is this how you treat your customers? Those girls are the worst and lazy employees ever. I will never come back at the Romeoville location, the Joliet and Bolingbrook location is way better much friendly and make my yogurt with no problems

Do not order Dubai Strawberries. Trash. Not sure where they're getting their ingredients from but the chocolate and pistachio butter were nasty. Strawberries were mushy, a couple days old for sure. Nothing compared to what arabic places have to offer.

The yogurt cups are more yogurt than fruit. Every other Michoacana loads their's with fruit. Now they also have a limit of 4 fruits to choose from. They are never really friendly. There's one lady who gets upset when you can't hear what she's saying to you because she's speaking while facing the wall. I've been here often because it's closer but I'd rather drive to Bolingbrook for better service and more fruit than yogurt and more options of fruit.

Let's start with the people. These are 2 of the sweetest ladies ever! They work VERY hard to please. They are extremely friendly and personable. The ice cream is awesome. I've never been to a place that sells Ferrero Roche ice cream! The coolest part is 95% of the deserts are homemade! One can definitely see the effort put into their creations. I enjoy finding things I've never had before; believe me, there's 6 months worth of desserts, if one were to try something new every day. They also have Mexican corn there which, is one of our absolute favorites! Their prices are VERY reasonable. To be perfectly honest, I'd pay double for their homemade desserts and their friendly smiles. I always see them cleaning which explains why the place is always spotless.
