Customer Reviews
Went this weekend and we were very disappointed with the sushi. We ordered unagi and the rice was hard and the eel was cold. Also, I ordered others and the rice to fish ratio was ridiculous. I wanted sushi and not rice! It really is a hit or miss to eat at Kyoto. Eagan location I think is better. Service was solid though but the restaurant was pretty empty. Hopefully they improve the rice to fish ratio and make sure the rice isn’t hard.
The sushi here is good and the AYCE is standard price. I enjoyed the salmon, tuna, and yellowtail that I had. The service and ambience was slow and my order was mistaken a few times throughout the process overall, I would recommend this spot, especially if you’re going with friends and don’t mind waiting a little while in between rounds of sushi.
2-25-24 my wife and I tried this place because we were craving for sushi. Parking isn’t the greatest. Overall it was okay. I think the sushi didn’t taste fresh. I eel sushi tasted okay. The mackerel didn’t taste salty and texture tasted different. The salmon teriyaki was thinly cooked, not like the photo in the menu where it look thick and juicy. The best food was the chicken wings, nice and crispy. Waitress was really nice and atmosphere was cool. It was okay.
I have to come back here. The sushi was delicious and my only regret is not having more room in my belly to order more things to try from the menu. I have such a curiosity but can I only eat so much as one person. I wish I had more availability to go for lunch prices but I knew what I was getting into for dinner and still found it very worthwhile. The service was amazing, chef's put together the sushi quickly, and seating was nearly immediate after entry.
Pros: -Definitely worth $25 per person for weekend lunch, I'd recommend ordering as much as you can when you can. -Maki rolls are delicious, I was full and satisfied - VARIETY! Cons: - Wish I had a bigger stomach to eat more
