My friend and I stopped in after passing by and noticed there was an Indian restaurant in the area. Very good food and clean establishment. We were immediately seated and given menus. The servers are very quick to ask if you need anything or need more time. The food didn't take too long to come out either. We had the chicken tikka, chicken chili mild, and samosa chaat. The chicken was so tender, tangy, and smoky, the chili had perfect sauce ratio and spice level, and the samosa chaat was very good with the tamarind sauce. I'd come here again!
The food is excellent and full of flavor. The butter chicken was definitely a standout rich, creamy, and perfectly spiced. It paired perfectly with the garlic naan, which was fresh, soft, and had just the right amount of garlic. Everything tasted authentic and well prepared. If you’re in the mood for great Indian food, this place is definitely worth checking out.
We stopped by this small restaurant and had a pleasant experience. We ordered mutton paya soup, egg kothu parotta, and falooda. The soup was excellent, rich in flavor and well-prepared. The egg kothu parotta had a decent quantity good enough for 2 ppl to have but it didn’t have the authentic Indian taste we expected but was still decent. The falooda was good as well. The service was quick, and the prices were reasonable. Overall, a nice spot for a quick meal.
Walking into Kurunji felt like being transported straight to the heart of South India. Each dish reflected genuine authenticity—from the crisp, golden dosas to the flavorful sambar and vibrant chutneys served alongside. The idlis were light and airy, melting effortlessly in the mouth, while the vadas struck the perfect balance between a crunchy exterior and soft center. It's evident that every dish is crafted with care and deep-rooted tradition. This place offers a truly memorable and authentic South Indian dining experience that I wholeheartedly recommend.
We are regular customers, but unfortunately the experience is getting worst. Prices have increased significantly, while food quality has gone downhill. Over the last 4–5 visits, we have been disappointed every time. We ordered Hakka noodles, chilly chicken, and lamb korma, and the food tasted like reheated leftovers. It did not seem like fresh oil was used. We spent almost $90 including tip, but there was no value for money. The restaurant is no longer maintaining the quality it once had.
