Kura Revolving Sushi Bar

We were visiting the DC area for a few days and stumbled across Kura Sushi on H Street. After seeing all the positive reviews, we decided to give it a try—and we’re so glad we did! The revolving sushi setup immediately made the experience fun and interactive. It’s such a unique concept and really adds to the excitement of trying new dishes as they glide by on the conveyor belt. Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The sushi rice was perfectly seasoned, the fish tasted clean and high quality, and the menu offered a great mix of classic rolls and creative combinations. We especially liked how easy it was to order additional items through the touch screen and have them zoom right out on the express belt—super quick and convenient! The restaurant was spotles

The decoration and food deliver was fun experience. They have the robot to deliver water and food at the table also the converter belt system to make your fun dining experience. The kids were enjoy to take the food from the belt and also the plate count when you reach 15 plates you will get the small price. That make more dining fun experience.Since I‘m the fan of sushi, At that day I think the rice and tamakoyaki haven’t cook well enough. For the screen, i have order 3 items and I cannot order it again until they deliver the food. We try to press the call staff but it may to busy no one come to ours table.

This sushi place is amazing! I never liked sushi until I tried it here !! that’s how good it is! The atmosphere is super chill & cozy, and Alison is the sweetest. She always greets us with such a warm welcome every time we walk in. I come here all the time because the food, the vibes, and service are just perfect!

I don’t usually leave reviews, but this experience was egregious enough to warrant one. On 12/7/2025 around 11:30am, I called the Washington DC Kura Revolving Sushi to ask if they still had the Kirby mugs. I was told yes. When we arrived and asked again before being seated, we were told yes again. Because of that confirmation, we drove 30 minutes to the DC location, bypassing another Kura Sushi just 5 minutes away — we specifically chose to travel farther based on their promise. We spent $111, well above the $85 promo threshold, under the belief that the mugs were available. At checkout, we were told the mugs were gone the day before. Staff admitted it was their mistake and offered to make it right with a Kirby blanket after 1/14/2026, writing it on the receipt. On 1/14/2026, we returne

It was an amazing experience. For my first time eating sushi it was an amazing place to go too. Not only were the robot serving water was so cool but a very fun memory I will remember. However the best part when I went there was this woman named Alison, she was the sweetest most welcoming person I could ever meet. When I came inside she was so sweet and nice to me and my family welcoming us and having very sweet conversations with her. The top reason I would go again would be because of Alison. Thank you so much for the food and great experience.
