Fun restaurant as what would you expect from a revolving sushi place. The store is well-kept and clean. I would say the food quality is ok for revolving sushi but maybe not worths the price if you compare it to regular sushi restaurant. Since the fish needs to be cut and put in the plates, it dried out somewhat. The portion is normal in my standard (I saw some comments said it’s small but I don’t think it is; or maybe they have improved upon seeing the reviews). Everything in the revolving bar is the same price and doesn’t go by different colors/prices. This makes some dishes extremely expensive. The hot plates in the menu come quickly. I enjoy the flavor of tempura udon although the tempura itself was soggy (maybe they should have separated the tempura when serving. The service was not so

I haven't been to a Kura Sushi since inlived in Japan. I was so happy to see one here in Salt Lake. Its a really fun experience and the Sushi is good. A little Americanized but, I think thats a good thing (more cooked options) The deserts are also delicious. If you spend a certain amount of money too, you get a cool take away gift!!! Great experience. 10/10 would recommend.

I thought the sushi would be kind of small, but the toppings were way bigger than I expected. The limited-time Sweet shrimp nigiri was super thick, fresh, and so good! I also really liked the Spicy Popcorn Shrimp Roll. The two of us had 14 plates and were totally stuffed. For dessert, the Taiyaki was hot and crispy, and it went perfectly with the vanilla ice cream and red bean. Such a fun and satisfying lunch spot for conveyor-belt sushi!

We chose Kuru to have an experience like the conveyor restaurants in Japan. HUGE mistake. Each plate is $3.85 with 2 small pieces of sushi. The rice was dry and feel apart when you lifted it off the plate. The grilled mackerel was so over done it was like cardboard, inedible. Ordered a veggie tempura plate. Cost $9 and was 2 pieces sweet potato, largest was almost 2in long, 1/2in wise and 1/4in thick. The second was smaller. Took a pick. SO poor and bad value. Sushi was very cold. The watermelon was so dry they looked like it had been sitting out a few days. Computer screen had glitches. Ice cream was hard and icy. The red bean paste was hard, must have been frozen with the ice cream. Lunch was almost $100. My advise, go somewhere else.

This was a fun Delicious experience!! Everything we tried was so good! The whole conveyor belt, pick what you want as it comes by was wonderful. And then we had to get enough plates so we got a prize Was fun too. Everything about it was great. It can get pricey if you don't watch how many plates you're getting.... But I highly recommend
