Kura Revolving Sushi Bar

A friend told me about this place and we decided to check it out. It's in the first floor of the Glendale Galleria near the Popeyes. It was my first time experiencing this type of dining/service and it was a nice experience. The restaurant had lots of personality with anime memorabilia and drawings. We got seated right away and the way it works is that you just pick the plates off a conveyor belt and dig in. If you want something not on the conveyor belt you can order it through a tablet and it'll come on another belt higher up. I had lots of sushi but the standouts were the eel, snowcrab, California roll and Japanese mayo. They also have ramen and udon. I ordered the ramen and it was ok nothing special. I love the server robot that comes to your table to deliver your drinks. It's adorable! The sushi is fresh and tasty. The prices are affordable. We were in a group of three and spent around $50, total. The only thing is one has to learn how to place the order, if you don't want anything from the revolving bar or want to order a la carte, but overall it was a great experience.

Definitely the most popular revolving sushi bar experience and you feel it right away walking in. Get on the wait list ahead of time. The fish can be hit or miss to be honest. And they super load everything up with rice and you're left wanting more. If you want the revolving sushi experience this is the best you'll get and worth it just for the novelty. Otherwise try to wait for their coupons to make the experience worth it. (I like their sawtelle location more)

Great place we had amazing experience here. The food was great. Clean place. Environment was pleasant. The staff are very helpful. The cooks are nice.10/10stars.!!!
