This Kpot in East Brunswick is easily one of the best hot pot experiences I’ve had. Compared to the Woodbridge location, it’s in a completely different league. The food quality is noticeably better—the grill is consistently changed throughout the meal, so everything tastes fresh and cooked perfectly. The sauce bar is well maintained with a wide variety of options, making it easy to customize every bite exactly how you like it. The atmosphere is cleaner, more organized, and just feels more welcoming than the Woodbridge spot. I also appreciate the two-hour dining limit, which keeps the flow steady without feeling rushed. Overall, this location nails both quality and experience, and I’d go back again and again.

The food is delicious and price is good for all you can eat. The service is also very good. Our server was very attentive and anything we ordered on the iPad came out quickly. The 2-hour time limit was plenty long enough because the service is quick. Food is fresh, the restaurant is clean, and the sauce bar has everything you could want to create your own flavor. There is plenty of space between tables so you don't feel squished. We had a great time and will go again. It does get very busy at night and on weekends.

Food is good, broth a bit salty. The service is lacking. Our broth was never refilled, so I was down to the bottom by the time we left. It was hard to get anyone’s attention to order drinks. At the end, the staff member broke a bottle cleaning up while we were still sitting there and a shard of glass hit my friend and she started bleeding. It wasn’t a lot but the employee wasn’t apologetic. She merely told us to go to the front if we wanted a bandaid.

I was really disappointed with my visit to KPOT. While getting food from the salad bar, I saw a cockroach near the food, which completely ruined the experience. What made this worse is that I brought my girlfriend’s brother and his wife here for their first time trying KPOT and Korean BBQ, and this was not the impression I wanted them to have. Cleanliness is extremely important, especially at a self-serve food area. I hope management takes this seriously and improves their sanitation standards.

Incredible Experience – Food, Service, and Vibes! Our server was named Jacob (spelled J-E-I-G-H-K-O-B), and he was absolutely fantastic. From the moment we sat down, he gave us the full experience. He walked us through how to eat the soup, how to enjoy the barbecue, and even helped us navigate the menu. He recommended the bulgogi, the short ribs, and a variety of other dishes—including gyoza, which was phenomenal. My cousin had the shrimp gyoza, and we ended up trying a bunch of things we didn’t even recognize—but loved! We’re Colombian by birth and don’t usually eat this kind of cuisine, at least not in this way—so we needed what I call the “911 tour,” and Jacob delivered. The food was outstanding, and the service was next-level. Jacob was attentive the whole time, as were the other sta
