Amazing place. Very clean. No contamination. Home kitchen with awesome South Indian flavours. Couldn’t ask more. I have tried almost everything on the menu. Here are some pictures of latest added chettinad dum biryani, paneer Manchuria, Parotta and plantain bajji. Filter coffee !! Must try ! ☕️ Awesome food ! 🎉🎉 Feist for vegetarians !! 🤩💫
Kovai Kitchen Pure Vegetarian is a fantastic addition to the area and easily worth a visit. We had a really good overall experience—the taste, quantity, and quality of the food were all spot on. We tried the thali, Andhra spicy dosa, podi dosa, idlis, rava dosa, and coffee, and everything was flavorful, well-prepared, and met expectations without any disappointments. There was a bit of a wait for the food, but it was completely understandable and worth it given how fresh and satisfying everything was. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and it’s great to finally have a solid pure vegetarian South Indian place in town so we don’t have to drive far for good food. Highly recommended.
Amazing South Indian food! It’s been really difficult to find authentic South Indian cuisine in LA and South OC, but this place truly delivered. The masala dosa was excellent; perfectly crisp, flavorful, and served with delicious sambar and a great variety of chutneys (coconut, tomato, and peanut). Everything tasted fresh and authentic. Definitely a must-try if you love South Indian food. Hope this place stays around for many years!
Absolutely loved our experience at Kovai Kitchen! We tried the Mysore masala dosa, cheese dosa, idli vada sambar, mini idli, and finished with their amazing filter coffee — everything was fresh, authentic, and absolutely delicious. The flavors were spot on and reminded us of true South Indian comfort food. The service was excellent, the staff was very welcoming, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Overall, a wonderful dining experience. Highly recommend this place for anyone craving great South Indian food! 💛☕️🍽️
Gobi, poori and mirchi bajji was very good. Benne masala dosa was decent. I will try different ones next time. Highly recommend this place
