Kosciuszko Pool

Really really nice pool. Employees had it all very coordinated. I saw they gave swim lessons to the kids that didn't know how to swim. I believe u had to sign up for this . We didn't do it but alot others did. Employees very nice . Not one attitude did we encounter. Thank you all. It was a beautiful day and experience. Sun was shining, pool looked beautiful. Everyone was having fun. Parking around there wasn't easy . That's the only bad thing. Better if u take bus or Uber. They probably closed pool after Labor Day. They do have a kitty pool. Huge pool for others. . There are rules on what u can bring and wear so find out before you go. No hats no T shirts only swim type. Look up the rules. Please find out rules on what u can bring. Other wise u won't be happy but they are strict about

They have way too many rules. I was on my period and had zero intentions to go in the pool but was told I can’t go in to supervise my little cousins because I needed to fully be in a swimwear. Then my cousin was told she cannot have her phone by the pool. I understand you guys are trying to protect people’s privacy even though that wasn’t explained but if people can’t have their phones then shouldn’t you ensure that there is a public phone in case of emergency?

The pool is a staple in the community, and I've been coming here with my family since I was a kid. The rules are in place to keep everyone, especially the kids, safe. To enter, you must have a lock. If you're traveling with a stroller, the staff will ask you to leave it at the front. You’re allowed to wear a white shirt over your swimsuit if you'd like. Floatation devices aren’t permitted in the pool, but you can bring your towel, sunscreen (they provide it, too), sunglasses, and a good book. The staff is direct and consistent with enforcing the rules. The pool is always clean, and the first session ends at 3 PM for an hour-long cleaning break, reopening at 4 PM. I’ll definitely keep coming back to this pool !

There are way too many restrictions just to get inside this public pool. Staff require you to shake your towel out for “contraband” like you’re in prison. They’re also policing all sorts of swimwear. I witnessed two situations: a woman wearing a one piece with a small mesh paneling on the stomach area and a woman with a bathing cap. The woman wearing the one piece was told she couldn’t enter because she was wearing lingerie (spoiler: she wasn't). I felt bad because this happened in front of a crowd and she looked embarrassed. Her swimsuit had adequate covering as it had more fabric than a bikini. The woman in the swim cap was asked to remove it and she countered “I wore this here last week though.” Finally, after making my way through each of the public pool final bosses, I set up my towel

I feel like the pool is better than last year the workers are much nicer the lockers are cleaner, however I only went one day so I'll update the next few times we go.... it's diverse all different types of people come to this pool make sure you have a lock they do check your bag if you have one.
