Excellent food! The kumpir ( baked potato filled with melted cheese, butter and different toppings) was delicious and the beef doner sandwich was amazing as well. The service was excellent and extremely friendly. Everything tasted very fresh and full of flavor. The Turkish delight (baklava) was incredible, and the Turkish coffee was served the traditional way, with the grounds just like a proper Turkish coffee should be. The food truck is in a very quiet part of Wynwood with tables and chairs, so it’s a really relaxing spot to sit outside and enjoy your food. There’s also street parking available, and it’s usually easy to find a spot since the area is very calm. Highly recommend this place! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Koompir Miami is one of those rare hidden gems where the food is both excellent and a great value. The kumpir is fantastic. A huge baked potato loaded with toppings and prepared with real care. That said, my personal favorite on the menu is the sucuk sandwich. If you’ve never had sucuk, think of it as a Turkish chorizo. Here it’s paired with mozzarella and green pepper inside a delicious Turkish flatbread. When it’s cooked properly the flavor really comes alive, and the proprietor is clearly a master at preparing it. The balance of spice, melted cheese, and crisp bread is outstanding. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re looking for authentic Turkish food in Miami. I’ll definitely be back.
Absolutely loved it! Super authentic, we got the beef doner and the koompir (recommended) with all the toppings. It reminded us of Istanbul - highly recommend and will be back for more!
Such a great spot! The loaded baked potatoes were absolutely delicious perfectly cooked and piled high with generous toppings. The combination of sweet corn, olives, and sauces was so flavorful and satisfying. Everything tasted fresh, and the presentation was on point. Paired with an ice-cold Coke, it made for the perfect meal. Friendly atmosphere and a great place to relax and enjoy some comfort food. Definitely coming back!
Finally a proper kumpir and patso spot in Miami! I tried the kumpir and the patso and both were amazing. The kumpir was perfectly baked and loaded with fresh toppings, and the patso was exactly how it should be — crispy, flavorful, and super satisfying. Everything tasted very authentic and brought real street food vibes. Friendly service and great quality. Definitely coming back. Highly recommended!
