Konoz Restaurant

A true taste of Puerto Rico in the Ironbound. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere made us feel like we were back on the island. The owners were incredibly welcoming and made the whole experience even more special. The food was 10/10 in both taste and presentation. They were also accommodating with a food allergy, which we really appreciated. We left so happy and can’t wait to come back!

I went here with my family on a Sunday morning. It's a very cute little place. Clean and who I assume was the owner was very friendly. Food was excellent. I had the Konoz omelette, My son had the konoz breakfast sandwich, and my wife and daughter shared the quarter chicken. The fried plantains were delicious and the chicken had a had a really good smoky flavor. We also had the flan for dessert which was better than expected. Great spot for breakfast highly recommend.

To begin, I can say that Alex, the owner, gives you an excellent welcome. The waitress is a very nice and attentive girl. The atmosphere is super pleasant, and the food is exquisite. The alcapurria, the pernil, and the trifongo were all truly delicious. Puerto Rican food in the Ironbond area! 🏆🙌🏻 Thank you, I'll be back soon.

We came to Newark for a concert and wanted to have dinner when we arrived. We walked into Konoz to order food to go! Alex and Silvia were so welcoming and we felt at home that we ended up eating in. Gracias a Dios that we did. Not only was the food phenomenal our experience with the owners were amazing. We will definitely be coming back. I would literally come for a day trip to visit Konoz, have a good time while eating some amazing food.

This was by far the best experience my family had at a restaurant. It felt like we were in Puerto Rico and the owners were very welcoming. My Autistic daughter felt very comfortable and safe. The food choices were amazing. The taste, quality and presentation of the food is everything. Our family highly recommend you visit Konoz if you really want to feel at home somewhere in Puerto Rico 🇵🇷 😊.
