Konjo Catering and Events

I LOVE this place! I’m a huge fan of Ethiopian food and Konjo doesn’t disappoint. I’ve ordered the veggie platter several times which is a beautiful, colorful array of spiced lentils, spinach and cabbage with a side of fresh salad. It is delicious! I’ve never had so many veggies packed with this much flavor all on one plate. Not to mention service was fast and employees working the front are super friendly and attentive.

I was skeptical at first. Typically the best Ethiopian meals I've had took forever and ordering fries was definitely not an option. This place proved that my skepticism was grossly unfounded and came through with a delicious, spicy meal in a matter of minutes.

So good I’m writing this review before I even leave the marketplace. Ordered the veggie platter, everything was delicious, especially the spinach. And the woman taking my order was such a delight. Will definitely be back!

I'm an avid ethiopian food consumer. I'm super excited to see more authentic, diverse options for food in Denver, CO, especially on the west side of town. While I support this business and its endeavors in a popular food hall, the food wasn't anything to be excited about. It's a good place for people needing to be introduced to ethiopian food - it's healthy - jampacked with veggies, spices, and meat (i believe it's a great paleo option) Konjo's is overpriced, has small portions, and comes out cold. I really appreciate the "server" and staff people at Konjo's - they're friendly, and want to know how to better serve you. However, with my experience in Ethiopian food, I know good quality food, and it wasn't served up here. $14 for a meat combo, which was a tiny plate of meat, a veggie side,

Both the food and the service here are awesome. It was my first time trying Ethiopian food, had the veggie option and it was great. The sambusa was out of this world.
