Kona Sushi - Lasalle

I recently tried this place out and was seriously blown away. The cheese wontons were crispy and delicious, a perfect way to start the meal. But the real star was the sushi. Each piece was incredibly soft and fresh, melting in my mouth with every bite. The service was also top-notch. If you're looking for amazing sushi with a great vibe and awesome service, Kona Sushi is the place to go! You won't be disappointed.

I thought the food was very delicious! We got the all you can eat and I loved every single sushi that I got! Molly was our waitress, she was really sweet and she made sure to check in on us during the meal to see if we needed anything. Thanks Molly! The only thing I have to say that's negative is that we were waiting for a while for the food, but it was really busy the day we went.

I went here earlier today with my wife. The appetizers were very good and well made! The waitress was friendly, helpful, and super nice. Exceptional service on her end However I was throughly disappointed with the sushi. The rice they used was old and dry. The rolls were packed with the rubbery rice, It was almost inedible. The chef had to have known this but still sent our order out. The waitress was nice and offered to remake them but at that point we lost our appetite due to the texture. It also took extremely long for the food to come out.

Really delicious sushi rolls here, good portion and very tasty, worth the price. The vegetable tempura does not have many types comparing to other sushi places. The sauce is so yummy and on the table for us to serve ourselves. Limited spots inside during winter time. Will definitely come back.

We had a great experience at Kona Sushi in LaSalle. The food was fresh, well-prepared, and beautifully presented, exactly what you hope for when going out for sushi. Everything we ordered tasted excellent and came out in a timely manner. A special shout-out to our server, Molly, who was incredibly friendly and welcoming. She made us feel comfortable right away, checked in at just the right times, and added to the overall enjoyment of the meal with her positive attitude. Between the quality of the food and the great service, this was an all-around enjoyable visit. We’ll definitely be back and would happily recommend Kona Sushi to others.
