Koko’s Mediterranean Cafe

I've been coming to the spot for probably over 10 years and the experience overall has been solid. The owners are always really polite, the food is put together ridiculously fast, and the flavors are pretty familiar and flavorful as you would expect from Mediterranean food. I will say, that perhaps there's a little bit of shrinkflation because most restaurants, the portions just seem a little smaller. I think for this cafe, everything is pretty much the same with high quality hummus, tasty rice, fresh salad, but I think the meat portions are a little smaller than I remember a year ago. Also, this round, my lamb skewers were a bit overcooked and on the dry side. But, perhaps this is just an anomaly for this visit. I'm going to try again probably this month!

I’ve been a loyal customer of Koko’s Mediterranean Cafe for over a decade, and it continues to impress me every time. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the service is always friendly, and the food—consistently fresh and flavorful—is what keeps me coming back. My go-to favorite is the beef kabob plate. The meat is perfectly seasoned and grilled to tender perfection, served alongside fluffy rice, crisp salad, and a generous helping of hummus and pita. It’s a comforting, satisfying meal that hits all the right notes—hearty, healthy, and delicious. Over the years, I’ve tried nearly everything on the menu, but I always find myself craving that beef kabob plate. Koko’s is a true local gem, and I’m grateful to have it as a longtime favorite.

Great little family owned restaurant. Fast casual/take out style, but some inside tables and nice little patio. Basic Mediterranean dishes, very tasty. Good portion size.

This is the best Mediterranean food I’ve had in the Pasadena area. Extremely delicious and you can taste that they use quality ingredients. Very friendly owner and staff and quick service! Fair prices for the quality and amount of food they give you! My favorite is the chicken and beef kabob plate and the falafel but I’m excited to try more items 😊

Awesome spot been going to for years! Quick, tasty, and affordable Mediterranean food. Wraps and plates. Recommend the lamb kebab and chicken kebab plates! A line can form, but they move fast! Parking lot is busy, but you will find a spot…there is high turnover. Large work lunch crowd m-f. The included sauces are amazing. Especially the garlic white sauce. Pita included. Can modify the house salad for hummus or tabouli! Small outdoor covered seating area. Dog and kid friendly. Small seated area inside not dog friendly unless service. Highly reco this spot!
