If you come here, just stick to the lamb skewers — you really can’t go wrong with them. The lamb skewers are the must-order item every time. Honestly, all of the Chinese dishes here are solid and taste great. Everything we tried was flavorful and well-cooked, so it’s a safe choice even if you order multiple dishes to share. Highly recommended if you’re looking for good skewers and reliable Chinese food.

Kochi Maru is such a fun, flavorful place for a night out. The tableside charcoal grill makes everything taste extra smoky and satisfying, and the staff is super friendly and happy to explain how to cook the skewers the best way. Must-try: the lamb skewers (juicy and aromatic), and the Guo Bao Rou / crispy sweet & sour pork—perfectly crunchy with that addictive tangy glaze. We also loved the cold noodles as a refreshing balance to all the BBQ. Great vibe for groups, plenty of food, and a unique “DIY grill” experience you don’t get everywhere. Definitely coming back!

Absolutely loved this hidden gem in Doraville! The lamb skewers were juicy and flavorful, and the Guo Bao Rou (crispy sweet & sour pork) was hands-down the best I've had in years. Also loved the cold noodles with pickled veggies--super refreshing! Great drink options like fruity soju and honey pomelo tea. Perfect spot for groups too--they have big tables and even private rooms. Will definitely be back!

Food: Their sweet & sour pork (锅包肉) is the best among all the ones I’ve had tried. Every time I come here, it’s my must-to-order. Their 烤冷面 (first pic) tastes also really good. I personally don’t like lamb but I loved the beef tendon skewers! We (2 people) wanted to order more food but the large portion of each item stopped us. Service: The food came pretty quickly. The server welcomed us and was very nice. Atmosphere: The restaurant isn’t that big but enough to have privacy as they leaves enough room between tables. The place was maintained clean and well.

The only live BBQ restaurant in Atlanta! Live BBQ is much better than kitchen-made BBQ, in my opinion. The portions were okay. But the meat needed more flavor. The spices could be improved adding cumin. The cold noodles 拉皮 were very good. And nice service. I really hope they can improve and have the potential to become a top pick in Atlanta.
