Kobe Japanese Steakhouse & Sushi

Tried the Combo #1 Sushi dinner at Kobe in Little Rock. The tuna nigiri was fresh and enjoyable, paired with simple orange juice. Overall, very satisfied with the food quality. The restaurant itself is clean with a pleasant ambiance. Staff were friendly and efficient. Lingling was one of them and knows a lot about their dishes. Prices are affordable, making it good value. A solid dinner choice.

Omar is the absolute best chef we have had here. We live fairly close and have always enjoyed the food. However, Omar provides an amazing experience as well as humor and is happy to add a little extra butter or lemon upon request. Not to mention his talent with performance. Any chef here is fabulous, however, Omar always exceeds our expectations and makes us happy when we see he is our chef for the night. Plus, his scallops are always cooked perfectly, nice and buttery, with a caramel crust! My husbands steak is always cooked and seasoned to his liking. Thank you again, Kobe, for the delicious neighborhood hibachi!

We came here a few years ago and did the birthday celebration for my son, we came back again tonight to do it for my husband, they charged 9.99 to do it which is supposed to include singing, a dessert and a photo. We got the dessert and they sang but we didn’t get the photo taken. Our food tasted like the sauce that was used when cooking the rice and steak was maybe going bad. The cook didn’t do the volcano with the onions or engage hardly at all, just seemed like he didn’t want to be there. Our steak came out really chewy. The vegetables were plain but were the best part of the meal and the chicken was pretty good. Normally it wouldn’t bother me so much but when we go out to dinner especially spending over 80 dollars we do expect decent food. The server we had was nice and attentive consi

The food was delicious. I rate this because the chef{ with a nose ring} he was young, but my cousin and I were the only two blacks at the table and he literally gave us small portions of food Like we were kids but gave all the caucasian people a pack of food on their plate which I didn’t agree with that!! I feel like it’s the racism thing, but he didn’t get a tip from me. I tipped the waiter because she was more Professional. This was my second appearance. The food is amazing though I just don’t agree with the small portion. Trump please send him back. Do it for me and my cousin.

It was a wonderful experience as a tourist/someone not from this area. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. All of the staff were super friendly, and were patient with us about the menu/ordering. The food was amazing! Some of us got sushi and a couple of us got the hibachi plates. The chef cooking in front of us was very interactive and funny, you could tell he loved his job. They sang me happy birthday and gave me some dessert too!
