Kismet Mediterranean Grill

My friends and I just finished eating at Kismet Mediterranean Grill, and everything about the experience was amazing. I ordered the grilled salmon, and it was cooked perfectly. Their homemade sauce paired so well with the salmon and really elevated the dish. We also shared the baklava for dessert, and it was absolutely delicious. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the interior is gorgeous, which made the whole dining experience even more enjoyable. From the food to the atmosphere to the service, everything exceeded our expectations. We truly had an amazing time here and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend if you’re in Albany and looking for excellent Mediterranean food!

First visit. Open table messed up reservation time, so we were 45 minutes early: Not an issue, they found us the only remaining table. Atmosphere is cozy and comfortable. Service was very good. Loved our entrees. The menu has enough choices, we have to go back and explore further. Definitely recommend.

The food in this restaurant definitely deserves a Michelin star! ⭐️ Everything is absolutely delicious, fresh, and perfectly seasoned. I haven’t had such amazing food in a long time – I truly think this is the best restaurant in the whole area. The owner is incredibly kind, pays attention to every detail, and makes sure every guest feels special. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The place is very clean and well-maintained, which makes the dining experience even more enjoyable. You can tell they put their whole heart into what they do. This is a place you’ll want to return to again and again – a true gem among restaurants ❤️

Friend and I ordered the meze platter, cigar rolls, and dolma. Beverages ordered was Apple tea and pistachio espresso (caffeine free). Tasted great Could only find one vegetarian option in the entrees and appetizers were really filling, had to take leftovers home! Ambiance was great, thank you!

This place absolutely deserves a 5-star review. From the moment we sat down, everything was done with great care and attention to detail. Before the meal, they brought olives and dried tomatoes that were incredibly flavorful, along with fresh hot bread, which was the perfect way to start. I’m a big fan of Ali Nazik, and I have to say this was one of the best Ali Nazik I’ve had anywhere in the United States. Engin, the owner and chef, did an outstanding job. You can really taste the difference because the eggplant is grilled in-house, giving it that authentic smoky flavor that this dish is supposed to have.
