Kinya Ramen

First time I’m having Ramen and my gosh this was so good. I had the beef Ramen and my husband had their special. The Pork bun was delicious as well. Absolutely love how clean and beautiful the place was. It was a great find while passing through PA.

This review is strictly about consistency and service with takeout orders. The last three times I ordered takeout, items were missing. Usually I catch it in time and go back in to get what I paid for, but this time I did not notice until I got home. My ramen was missing the add ins I paid extra for, and the portion size was also much smaller than expected. I didn’t get the gold, the extra egg or meat I paid for. 😞 Paying $23 for the soup I received was disappointing. Why is the portion inside bigger while the takeout is so small EVEN though it’s the same price?? Even the poke bowl was much smaller than usual. I truly enjoy the food here, but the staff needs to be more careful when reading and preparing takeout orders, especially when customers are paying for additional items. 5 stars for t

It’s… food. It’s perfectly edible. But I’d rather not eat it if I hadn’t paid for it. Ramen’s a tough dish because it needs to get all three major components right: noodle, broth, topping. The noodle had zero bite. To their credit, the broth was rich in pork gelatin, but the flavor was so one-dimensional without any hint of dried fish or aromatics. The chashu hadn’t been cooked long enough, tough and gummy rather than meltingly soft. Too many issues added up to the point of disappointment.

The restaurant lighting was nice and place was calm. Ramen was delicious as well as the pork buns and the brown sugar bubble tea. Ramen was a decent amount and I brought the rest home.
