Kingston 30 Jamaican Restaurant - Grayson Hwy

I went against my better judgment despite reading negative reviews on this restaurant. I ordered jerk chicken Mac and cheese. After waiting 6 minutes for it, I asked, was it ready? The female in the front said yes. But I still had to wait another 5 minutes. This side lacked cheese, flavor, spice, chicken, and the presentation was not good and it smelt sour. I am pissed at myself for wasting my $5.50

Very disappointing. 4 tiny oxtail all bone, a ton of rice and a few tablespoons of cabbage for $30. They know they were wrong for this. The taste was average. For $30 I expect a minimum of 6 pieces or if you give me 4 make sure they're meaty and large. I wont be coming back

Was the only people when we ordered take-out.. so the service was fast, and the food came out hot. My girl really liked the salmon.. but my curry chicken wasn't that good.. I ordered the goat at 1st, but they were out.. so I went with the chicken. Portion size was good enough to fill me up and still have some for lunch tomorrow.

ordered a few mild spice level jerk chicken quarters and it was disappointing…it did have the char but the flavor profile and expected seasoning level wasn’t there. Maybe they do mild jerk chicken by doing an overall under-seasoning of chicken? The Caribbean restaurant on Hurricane Shoals and even Golden Crust has a better flavor profile it. But, the service level was good and this was just a one time visit

Very chill, low-key spot with incredible food. I had the jerk chicken, and at the waitress's suggestion I had the spice level in between mild and spicy. And that was just PERFECT. great sides and the soda options are amazing thirst quenchers. I didn't get to have dessert because I was full, but the red velvet cake was calling my name.
